Tires and Wheels

The 370Z has a standard space-saver spare tire so you can replace a flat tire and drive to have the flat repaired or replaced. A spare tire isn’t available on the Q60; it requires you to depend on its run-flat tires, which limits mileage and speed before they are repaired. If a run-flat is damaged beyond repair by a road hazard your vehicle will have to be towed. Some models of the Q60 don’t even offer run-flats.

Suspension and Handling

The 370Z NISMO handles at .99 G’s, while the Q60 Red Sport 400 AWD pulls only .88 G’s of cornering force in a Car and Driver skidpad test.

The 370Z executes Motor Trend’s “Figure Eight” maneuver quicker than the Q60 Red Sport 400 (24.9 seconds @ .73 average G’s vs. 25.5 seconds @ .76 average G’s).

For better maneuverability, the 370Z’s turning circle is 3.9 feet tighter than the Q60’s (32.8 feet vs. 36.7 feet). The 370Z Sport/NISMO’s turning circle is 4 feet tighter than the Q60 AWD’s (34.1 feet vs. 38.1 feet).

Chassis

The Nissan 370Z may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 400 to 600 pounds less than the Infiniti Q60.

The 370Z is 1 foot, 4.9 inches shorter than the Q60, making the 370Z easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

Passenger Space

The 370Z has .3 inches more front headroom and .7 inches more front hip room than the Q60.

Ergonomics

The Intelligent Key standard on the 370Z allows you to unlock the driver’s door, trunk and start the engine all without removing a key from pocket or purse. This eliminates searching for keys before loading groceries, getting in the vehicle in bad weather or making a hurried start to your trip. The Infiniti Q60’s Infiniti Intelligent Key doesn’t unlock the trunk.

Economic Advantages

IntelliChoice estimates that five-year ownership costs (depreciation, financing, insurance, fuel, fees, repairs and maintenance) for the Nissan 370Z will be $986 to $3697 less than for the Infiniti Q60.
