An engine control system that can shut down half of the engine’s cylinders helps improve the AMG GT 4-Door 63/63 S’ fuel efficiency. The M3 doesn’t offer a system that can shut down part of the engine.

To almost totally eliminate engine vibration in the passenger area, the AMG GT 4-Door Dynamic Plus has an electronically controlled liquid-filled front engine mount. The AMG GT 4-Door has a standard remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The climate system will also automatically heat or cool the interior. The M3 doesn’t offer a remote starting system.

Unlike the driver-only memory system in the M3, the AMG GT 4-Door has standard driver and passenger memory, so that when drivers switch, the memory setting adjusts the driver’s seat, steering wheel position and outside mirror angle and the front passenger seat also adjusts to the new passenger’s preset preferences.

The AMG GT 4-Door’s standard easy entry system raises the steering wheel, making it easier for the driver to get in and out. The M3 doesn’t offer an easy entry system.

The AMG GT 4-Door’s power parking brake sets with one touch and releases with one touch or automatically. The M3 has a lever-type parking brake that has to be strenuously raised to engage properly. It has to be lifted up more and a button depressed to release it.

The AMG GT 4-Door’s front and rear power windows all open or close fully with one touch of the switches, making it more convenient at drive-up windows and toll booths, or when talking with someone outside the car. The M3’s passenger windows don’t open or close automatically.

Optional air-conditioned seats in the AMG GT 4-Door keep the driver and front passenger comfortable and take the sting out of hot seats in summer. The M3 doesn’t offer air-conditioned seats.

To keep a safe, consistent following distance, the AMG GT 4-Door offers an optional Distronic, which alters the speed of the vehicle without driver intervention. This allows the driver to use cruise control more safely without constantly having to disengage it when approaching slower traffic. The M3 doesn’t offer an adaptive cruise control.

The AMG GT 4-Door offers an optional 115-volt a/c outlet on the center console, allowing you to recharge a laptop or run small household appliances without special adapters that can break or get misplaced. The M3 doesn’t offer a house-current electrical outlet.
